Omg typing the blogger password is so foreign.

Just to dictate what ive done in the past months:

1. Went to hong kong.
It was an amazing trip!
I plan to retire in macau so that i can cross over to both china or hong kong island for shopping.

Note:
Dont ever want to go another wax museum again.
So expensive and repetitive. Like every other wax museums in the world.

2. Permed my hair for 200+ dollars.
And it was gone the next day. -O-
Note to self: Dont ever perm your hair again.

Anyway the perm left my hair veryyyyyy dry.
I dont bear to even dye my hair again, we'll see.

3. Worked at the lousiest job for jan.
Never stood for 8 hours straight in my life before excluding an hour break.
And it wasnt even fantastic pay!

But anw, close friends must be proud to see that i even worked eh.
Cheryl worked?!?!

4. Had the most housevisiting this chinese new year.
Including housewarming of my father side cousins which i rarely mention.
I never really liked the relatives of my father side but im starting to appreciate them more.
Like how i never knew this aunt always specially cook my favourite prawn crackers (i only eat theirs, no store-boughts!) for cny

Have loads of cny photos to post so i shall post those from my camera first!

Drew my eyebrows the whole of cny and will draw them forever from now.
Im ashamed to say that even going to ntuc at nex which is 5 min away from house, i HAVE to draw my eyebrows. It makes me more confident like that. To have brows, yes. How weird.

Graduation ceremony last friday and finally jc life is over!
Left a week of mock exams and i'll be off to fend for myself.

Sitting in the hall reminds me of secondary school graduation where we cried watching video montages, exchanged farewell cards and hugs :<

This year's graduation was nothing like the secondary school's though the videos prepared by each department was amusing.
I don't feel sad at all leaving and maybe even a little happy inside to finally be freed??
To be honest, 2 years of intense competition among peers and rushing through syllabuses didn't give classmates enough time to form lasting friendships!

20 days to go till A levels.

Cant wait to order clothes from taobao (yep) and have it delivered by the time A level starts to reward myself for my hardwork *pat on the back*

1. I am soooo guilty of not replying msgs or replying msgs late recently because i've been addicted to my iphone games, or rather games Marcus bought and i simply dl it from his itunes acc for free! ^^

Thats a bad point about iphone being a phone and a game device. When i see a sms message i just close it then when i finish my games an hour or few hours later i realise i have yet to reply that person :/

I've already completed jetpack, muffin knight, mega mall story, burger queen, ada fashion show, angry birds (sort of cause the remaining levels are too difficult for me) and they are too awesome to delete!

2. My prelims are almost over!

I think other than geography (screwed it up by identifying all the rock features and landforms wrongly LOL), all my other subjects should improve!
Not aiming for As here(unattainable also), i just want to progress and my parents should be satisfied with that.
And i study hard enough. period.

3. Marcus and I are tgt for over a year now.

I know i mentioned this before but in secondary school days, i used to bet with my friends (we bitches hahaha) how long a couple would last etc so i feel like i should make it a point to announce the length of my relationship so perhaps other fellow bitches out there will be well informed :)

Lady and Marcus get along well and btw she's four years old alr recently (her birthday is 3rd September)

4. Watched Quarantine 2 ytd with Marcus at home on mio tv.
Mio tv is awesome can buy movies for 2.99 - 4.99. Cheap thrills.

So anyway googled this movie poster and saw a lot of bad reviews about it also.
Totally agree because these shows are made possible by stupid idiots that dont know how to kill the infected person and end all the drama at once.
Ending sucked also because its abrupt so you will watch quarantine 3, surely coming out next.

And it dashed my dreams of being an air stewardess!
That was my plan B if i fail to get into university!!!
Never knew air stewardess had to be all mighty and stand up during the emergency landing teaching people what to do and check their seatbelts. WHY CANT AIR STEWARDESS SIT DOWN BUCKLED UP AND BE SAFE DURING SUCH SITUATIONS.
I am not so noble so goodbye dreams of being air stewardess.

5. Hate how f21, gmarket are selling more fall clothes now.
There is nothing to seeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
And also chiamin is diminishing my love for gmarket seeing how her clothes from taobao are cheap and equally nice.

But taobao so difficult to browse!

In the midst of studying for GP exams.
I can say that im more stressed than normal exams because i can already imagine my GP tutor reading out names that failed the paper.
What a humiliating thing to do right.

And i cut my hair 2 and a 1/2 inch shorter!
It is reaaaaaally visibly shorter but i like it because all my ends are of one length now and my hair is thicker!

1. Went to take the Spore flyer for free (Bro's NS pass) with family on Saturday. Most boring ride ever. What made it worse was that we had to share a cabin with some PRC people and they keep talking and talking for the whole 30 min ride and even jump in the capsule -.-

2. Life has not been that great lately. Everyone is studying so hard and i feel like im not doing enough. Just 70+ days...

3. Have lots of urges lately.. Not food cravings but urges to

a) get a deathly hallow tattoo!

LOL. Im not exactly a hardcore hp fan but its been a childhood movie and i want to keep a part of it with me :o I know i sound a bit sick in the mind here. Pity the kids born in the 20th century cannot enjoy such a wonderful series!

b) cut my hair length (awfully long?) and get back bangs.. hmm.

4. Its me and Marcus 11th month already! Last year National day was the first time he came to my house but as friends, this year he came over too. Time flies wowowowow.

I feel blessed.
Exams have been fine for the past two papers!

I had no time to finish studying all of the physical geog so i studied sections and all of them came out in the DRQ questions.

And i even found a $10 plastic note floating in the swimming pool on my way to geog exam!

Of course for essay there wasnt any question that i was confident in but i still managed to write few pages long of bullshit which is good because normally i get brain dead out of anxiety.

Wheeeee and i feel like exams are already coming to an end since i have no exams on monday and tuesday next week and only for wed and thurs!

Goals

Talking to Amanda suddenly made me realise why this year was such a tough year. Hahaha to amanda, you're so inspiring eh?

It was so tough because .....

I had no goals and thus no motivation to work hard.

In Sec 4, i had goals like being top 10 in class to top 5 in class to top 3. Hey i was 3rd in class ok for like prelims or smth.

OH FUCK I JUST SAW A LIZARD RUN ACROSS THE WALL IN FRONT OF ME.

Ok so anw without goals now, i am at the state of being threatened to retain if i fail MYE because i've done badly enough for block test.
SEE. That is what happens to a person without goals!

So im gna set goals

1. Im gna pass 3 subjects for MYE
2. Im gna get A B B C for A level
3. Im gna learn how to drive a car by age 19
4. Im gna earn my first thousand dollars by age 19 (for a spoilt brat like me, this is actually gna be a huge accomplishment)
5. Im gna get married by age 25
6. Im gna retire by age 25 and have enough capital to set up a business with Amanda so we can be taitais and our own boss HAHAHAHA.

Today was an awesome day!!!!!

Anyway, heres an unrelated picture of the winnie pooh bear Marcus got for me from Taiwan!
Its gonna have its home on my desk along with the cow, chicken and dog.

So we reached harbourfront at 9 plus am to have breakfast before going USS. The food there is crazily expensive so better to eat at Vivo first.

Marcus's breakfast. But vivo being vivo, this still cost $5 -.-

Hahaha our only full body shot. The rest is self-shots taken by me can cause im a pro. But its quite funny because at every ride or scenery i'll just raise the camera in front facing us and we'll smile and have a photo taken.

Went to Ancient Egypt and took our first ride - Revenge of the Mummy

I've got to say that is the best ride that i've taken in the whole USS.
Its extremely thrilling and not for the faint hearted!
At the start of the ride there's still some story and scary visuals which i only saw like 5 seconds of it because i was closing my eyes HAHAHA,
then after its just complete darkness and steep falls.
Fucking crazy for a person taking a rollercoaster for the first time.

Omg i even feel dizzy typing this. -.- Seriously.

Marcus rate it's scariness it 5/10.
I rate it 9.5/10

Then we went to take battlestar galactica, human. (the red rollercoaster)

I ONLY TOOK THE RIDE BECAUSE MARCUS SAID THERE WAS ONLY ONE BIG FALL AND EVERY OTHER PART OF THE RIDE WILL BE FINE.
BULL SHIT ITS FUCKING SCARY THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE RIDE.

Ok la i didnt really know what i was doing for the entire ride after the fall because my brain and organs flew out of my head so i was just sitting there soulless strapped to the seat turning and turning and falling and turning then god bless me i was alive.

There was a 14 storey fall ok. FOURTEEN STOREY.
I went to google for a picture that can show how great the fall is but i think nothing can really justify how scary my experience was except for the following video:

Face after. After the mummy ride i was just casually pouting but after this ride you can say that im pouting to contain my vomit.

Marcus rates it's scariness 7/10
I rate it's scariness 10.5/10

Went to far far away castle after and sat to recuperate.
Poor marcus had to hear my complaints about feeling uncomfortable for almost an hour before im finally fine.

Marcus bought me my favourite coke to cure my nausea.

After that went to take Shrek 4D Adventure.
Personally my worst ride of the whole USS because i was still feeling sick from taking Battlestar Galactica and the simulation about saving Fiona did not interest me at all and the effects just irritated me.

Went to Lost World and took Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure
Marcus rate it's scariness 2/10 (?)
I'll rate it 2/10 as well HAHAHA THOUGH I WAS CLOSING MY EYES ALSO AT THE DARK PARTS OF THE RIDE.
Im a chicken, i know.

Went to see WaterWorld show after.
BEST ATTRACTION OF THE WHOLE USS.

Entertaining, refreshing (because it was damn hot and we sit at the splash zone to get soaked and cool) and exciting!

Us slightly wet at the start of the show.
I was completely soaked by the end of the show which is good because the weather was so damn hot.

My lunch!!!!! Kids meal and i get to bring home the lunchbox omg so cute!

Sounds scary right but its just spinning things that doesnt even make you dizzy.
Rate it's scariness 0.5/10 (only because it looked scary when you watch it)

Marcus the nutcase went to take the battle galactica cylon (blue rollercoaster) by himself because im a chicken pokpokpok.
All i can say is he is really stressed out from school and dont mind dying so as everyone else on the ride. Nutcases.

I bought ice cream and Marcus bought some weird stick and $5.50 Evian water -.-
Sat down to eat.

Stupid idiot push my head away. And my lips are orange because of the orange flavoured ice cream hohoho. Ice cream's good for the weather.

So in conclusion, tips if you want to go USS:

1. Dont buy express pass because either its just our good luck to be able to take all the rides (except kiddy rides) on a peak day without express pass or that there is really no need for it.

2. Dont bring a DSLR unless you have an awesome boyfriend to carry it for you. And yes, im complimenting my boyfriend HAHAHA.

3. Dont bother dolling up for the park. I know right, 72 dollars must doll up to take better photos? I woke up 1 hour early to curl my hair but my efforts were wasted from the first Mummy ride when my hair was swung up down left right. And you'll get splashed by the water rides and water show. AND AND the weather is so hot anyway your hair will just become a sticky mess. So dont bother.

4. Go with good company. Not people who think you are a loser if you dont dare to take rides. Not people who are bored with slow rides. Yet again, im complimenting Marcus HAHAHA.

Cant believe Marcus could manage to convince me into taking rollercoasters for the first time in my life ever since the bad experience i had when i was young.
And thanks to him i feel very accomplished now!
I will definitely go USS again!!!

P.s. i have like severe leg cramps from walking the whole day. -.- But worth it!

Looks like i skipped a day.

Im up early on a monday morning like at 9am,
trying to gather motivation to study but i have yet to touch a pen until now.

Anyway, im excited to go USS w Marcus this wed!!

I have never taken a rollercoaster before ever since i've taken that fucking magic carpet ride in Genting when i was young.
Indoor rides dont count like mummy rides etc.
I dont get scared if i cant see where im gna fall.

BUT because the ticket is fucking 72 dollars (6 dollars more than usual price due to peak period), im gna challenge myself to at least take the red colour rollercoaster ride.

Ok after googling for the red rollercoaster ride i dont think i have the guts to take it. We'll see...

I kind of regret not buying the express ticket because its not very worth if you already spend so much yet cannot conquer all the rides?

BUT THE EXPRESS TICKET IS 40 DOLLARS MORE -.-

Its almost like another ticket price so i can buy another ticket and then go and take the rest of the rides!
Yep, i feel comforted now.

You know i was so upset this year after cutting my hair cause a palm length + of my hair was cut off
But later i got convinced by others that my hair was still long, and indeed it is rather long now.

I am diligently blogging for 3 consecutive days now!

I paint my nails like every week or sometimes twice a week, and i'll find satisfaction when Marcus notices that i've changed my nail colour and says that its pretty.

My nintendo ds is charging and im bored so im gna challenge myself to write 100 facts about myself.

This is like some spiritual exercise that i can find out who i truly am.

1. I am 18 years old this year

2. I think 18 is the best age to be because it's the year when you are really considered a young adult. Any age older you're considered old and frumpy.

4. My favourite game is harvest moon. I can play it on the PSP, DS and PS. I love it to death.

Its tuesday 10.51 am and im resting at home, fortunately thanks to nkt who totally ruined whatever determination i had to stay in school.

You know i really hope Singapore's education system would be like Finland's.
Finland boast an excellent but stress-free education system credits to stringent selection of teachers who all must obtain a Master degree at least.
Teachers chosen must really have the passion and dedication unlike some in Spore who doesnt even ask you if you are unwell despite seeing you desperately clutching your stomach AND EVEN ACCUSE YOU OF SLEEPING AND DEMANDS YOU TO GET OUT.

What a fucker. Or an insensitive loser. Or an ignorant blindfuck.

Anyway...

Im trying to resist getting tumblr but i like Amanda's so much.
Tumblr is good in a sense that all you need to do is click and reblog stuff and people can still know how you feel without needing to actually write a lengthy post...

Living on love

I guess from the photo many can tell that this post is about M.
(We take very little photos together because we are both not photogenic at all so this is the most decent photo we have together.)

You know i told myself i should only dedicate an entire post to M when we are together for 1 year,
but considering that i have yet to write him a card this month (we exchange cards every month) and that we've been together for almost 8 months now i should just write one now so that i can save the effort drawing a card. :>

And i should stop calling him M in my entries because one day if we break up, i may not even know who M refers to years down the road when i read my archives.
His name is Marcus okay.

Im proud to say that in this 8 months of relationship, there was never a point of time that we mention break up with each other unlike some couples i know.
That is not to say that we have never quarreled, and in fact, there was a point of time we quarreled quite often like once a week?

Apart from quarrels, there were MANY incidents that really tested me.
During the DB incident, there were people that asked me how could i be with "such a person", telling me all the "bad stuff" he did.
Well, that incident indeed cleared as a misunderstanding, and i still hold a grudge to people that created all that trouble for Marcus and me.
This is unlike Marcus who is so easily apologetic and forgiving, although that incident hardly involved me.
But i like to butt my nose in okay, im a problematic kid.
Anyway, we survived.

Other incidents are like getting straight Us for block test and then being ACCUSED that our r/s has caused my grades to fall.
And a more ridiculous incident today was a complaint by an awesome geog lecturer to my civics tutor about us SITTING APART FROM THE CLASS DURING LECTURES.

Firstly, i honestly do not see how that is against the school rules even if we did sit apart from the class.

Secondly, the fact is we do not sit apart from the class in the first place. There is a row with a fucking spoilt seat with no table, so in the end we are usually separated by that fucking spoilt seat so we seem like we want to leave a space between us and the class in the same row?

Cannot believe teachers nowadays. You know its all these complaints and incidents that really make me feel like its really me and Marcus against the world?
Sounds like our love is so great HAHAHA.

My advice to future school couples is to keep your r/s underwraps and act like enemies if not tchers will be out plotting to get you two.

Anyway, my dear Marcus, it is fate and DEFINITELY fate for us to be together.
We were chinese tuition mates since Secondary 2, i hated you then because you were always so noisy in class and i even rejoiced with Himalayas mountain when you got kicked out of higher chinese tuition class cause you downgraded to express chinese.

And then i realised that you became my school mates when i saw you at orientation and i prayed not to see you in my class.

My prayers were unheard as well and you not only got into the same class as me but the same PW group and tormented me (group leader) throughout the year as a fucking slack group member.

I swore to Cheryl How then that i will NEVER ever like you but I did in the end after Viva la music. I was ridiculously swayed by your aesthetic ability.

We got together eventually on September 9 (911) and I guess all the victims are blessing us from above so we have lasted till today :>

But i guess they didnt bless us enough since we got into a car accident just 3 months into our relationship.
You were bleeding all over that i thought i was in a drama serial and i'll just have to hug your dying body in my arms and cry helplessly for someone to save us.

However reality was that i stood up IMMEDIATELY after we collasped on the floor due to the hit, and i checked my face and body first realising that i was not injured at all except for a fractured toe before i went to check on you :)
I really think im a wonderful girlfriend.

Reading until here, you must be impressed by how sweet a girlfriend I am right?
Or rather how fucking mushy I can be for other stalkers reading?

But anyway, the true inspiration behind such a sweet post is the video which you shared on your facebook.

Hahaha ok Marcus, i dont know if you're hinting me or what but i believe you do not have the intellectual capacity to hint me but i know kay!

But anyway the video is saying the cycle of r/s how strangers can eventually become strangers again.
Stage 1: Meeting (And yes we met very unromantically(< is there such a word?) )
Stage 2: The Chase (Unfortunately i must say there wasnt much of a chase EH?!?!?)
Stage 3: Honeymoon
Stage 4: Comfortable
Stage 5: Tolerance
Stage 6: Breaking up

The point is i guess we are at stage 4 - comfortable, where i can eat chicken wings in front of you and not feel embarassed. I can put my legs up on the chair while eating dinner at my house. I can accidentally let out a burp or yawn without covering my mouth etc

But the video has given me a warning about how we should not take the comfort for granted. I wouldnt and you better not too!
And i should probably work back to being all demure and cheat you to think that im such a gentle loving girl again.

All in all, like every month, thank you for alwaying apologising first even when most of the times the quarrels started by me are ridiculous and totally the fault of mine. My ego is veryyyyy expensive.

How i wish i could just live on love and nothing else.
Quickly work hard and score well for A levels so i can just depend on you and YOUR INCOME for the rest of my life.
Im a woman with little ambition, i dont need to strive a career on my own to show men that we can be equally good at work etc so i see no point studyinggggggggggg.

Hahaha im getting straight Us for block test except for GP.

Im indifferent and disappointed about my results at the same time - contradicting much?
When teachers start to nag or give motivational talks i become disappointed and sad about my results, otherwise i feel ok?

I think everyone who survived JC should be given a medal.
Fucking mentally torturing, emotionally draining, physically tiring in a sense because you dont get enough sleep etcetc.

Thankfully, my mother is soooooooooo understanding.

Our class dropped from rank 11 last year to rank 33 out of 38 classes. (Y)

On the bright side, i got A for PW!
CT tutor said not to brag but i slogged my guts for a year so IN YOUR FACE.
(p.s ny only have 40% As this year compared to previous around 90%?)

1. Today was skirt spot check day. Never once thought ny would be just as childish as amkss. But at least the method used to check skirt length was more wise - which is to pick out the shortest 2 skirt lengths in class to be approved and if they pass, the class pass.

And guess what, i wasnt picked out as the shortest 2 skirt lengths k.
__l (< pinky btw) THOSE THAT SAID MY SKIRT WAS SHORT.

2. My geog teacher hates me. He kicks me (and Marcus) out of class for being 5 min late but he never does that to other people. And he asks my CT tutor why didnt i get caught for my skirt bcos my skirt is normally short. Grouchy old man.

3. My block test results suck so far. All i get is UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU. :>

4. Today i broke practically a whole basket of laboratory apparatus, only 2 conical flask and non-plastic measuring cyclinders were salvaged. Must make my school fees worth hahaha.

5. I jailbreaked my iphone yay! This means endless games on the go and one step closer to flunking A levels :)

Just snip snip snip and i was one happy lark before i ran my fingers through my hair when he was done and i thought wait... how come i took such a short time to reach the end.

Hahaha i cried for an hour when i went back home and M had to coax me out of my house.

Today i woke up forgetting about my hair and when i went to brush my teeth then woah i was traumatised again.

Moral of the story is - be satisfied. Dont know what was i thinking when i wanted to rebond my fringe and trim my dead ends.

I swear this year is not for me. JC is making me so negative that i feel like im wasting the effort of people trying to make me feel happy because i end up all negative again.

I've been saying that i regret going to a JC but this will be the first time that i'll be saying that i regret going to MY JC in particular.

Despite all the lax school rules, i PERSONALLY feel that the environment and culture is not at all suitable for me.
I HATE it when i have to hear threats about expelling us if we dont do our work etc etc, is there no other way to motivate us?
I HATE it when teachers assume we dont work hard enough when we fail a test.

e.g. my gp teacher asked me how i could produce such a short essay despite being able to use the computers for the test. Then i replied it was because my computer was lagging so i had no choice but to think off from my brain while others can research their work and all she could say was "Your brain only got like that?" Sorry, my brain only got like that.

I HATE it that the environment is stressful yet not stressful at the same time. I rather it be like AJC so that i'll be forced to mug my life away.

And all these seem worse when i think about non-JC friends and their life compared to mine.

I wonder if im having depression >.>

Its funny because when the zodiac reading says that it'll be a good year for the Rooster i never felt it.
BUT this year is supposedly gna be tough for the Rooster because we offend the Rabbit and all and i can feel that every bit of it.

Trying hard not to be superstitious but this whole year has been one bad thing after another and it cant be karma accumulated over the past year because i swear i have been an angel.... except for cursing a bit...

Lousy teachers*, lousy timetable, so hectic life everyday i wish i fall sick so i can get some rest, gp retest, studied so hard for chem and my first chem test is probably a goner also and ....

I seriously wonder what worse predicaments can i land myself in?

Cant help feeling old now.

Anyway i spent the countdown at home with my sleeping mother who woke up around 11:59:50 to scream "Happy New Year" in time.

Amanda came to stayover after (JUST LIKE LAST YEAR) and we talked till 5am+ then slept
Woke up and showered etc, met at j8 after amanda put down her stuff to eat lunch, met chloe at orchard and did some catching up then went to meet M.

We experienced our first snow in Verona and if i recall correctly this is day 6.
But the snow here wasnt the Ah~ kind of snow it was the shit-this-wets-my-hair kind of snow.

I ALWAYS thought the story of Romeo and Juliet was real but i found out on the trip that there was no Romeo and Juliet and so this balcony is fake too. Aw, can anyone tell me if real love stories exist? Like Liang Shan Bo and Zhu Ying Tai (i dno the story but i know they are lovers) or Titanic?

You're supposed to touch her left boob for good luck. -O- I didnt need that luck.

Pringles is my life saver on the trip. If you know me, you know im the pickiest person when it comes to food and so i barely ate ANYTHING in Italy. In Italy, i came to realisation that the food i hate most is tomato. And in Italy there's always pizza and spaghetti so pringles is my lunch and dinner.

Is Venice in Italy? I'll assume so but this may not be the case. Sorry if im an airhead.

Venice is the most beautiful place of all the places i've visited therefore i took most of my pictures here.
WARNING: 100+ huge ass pictures in this post, the post may take time to load and your computer may die.

Today is day 5 of the trip. You'll see that as the days pass, there will be less pictures of my face and you'll hardly see any by day 12 in london because im too pissed to take any. ^o^ London though is the BEST place of all i visited because of the shopping.

Gondola rides!
35 Euro each (about S$70) Just cause Venice is sinking..

I must say that i always expected gondola rides to be damn romantic and all but perhaps its because i was with my relatives or perhaps its because all i could hear on the trip was the rowers talking to each other loudly in italian probably scolding us for being heavy?! as they row the gondolas which totally spoiled the atmosphere, it wasnt as nice as i thought.
*insert sad face and a empty wallet*

TV shows always show that the gondola guys would sing italian song but not at all, not at all..

The rower said Marco Polo lived in one of the houses along this river. I took a picture of it but now i cant remember which house was his. Lets just assume one of those houses are his. Woo marco polo lived there man!

Overall: It is the WORST tour i've been ever.

Europe is beautiful alright so different from Asia but the tour agency that brought us to this beautiful place had to ruin our whole trip time and time again.
Lets count together...

1. Flight delay on the first day causing us to miss Spanish steps (A FREAKING SHOPPING DESTINATION) and fountain of Trevi (WHERE I CAN MAKE A WISH). The flight delay was technically not a fault of the tour agency but they probably JINXED it. They did.

Why am i so upset? Because im shallow and i came Europe with the intention to shop more than any other reason and they just had to cancelled this. And hello, maybe if i made a wish it just might have been granted.

2. Our "amazing" tour guide lost a family in the airport and we wasted more time finding them.

3. We were given a super SMALL bus to move about destinations to destinations.
The size? Equilivant to a van used to fetch pre-schoolers to and fro from school. Ya, 18 adults squeezed in that van.

4. A lady lost her bag. Again, not the fault of the tour agency but THEY JINXED IT. The fault of the tour agency is, we waited for almost an hour in the mini van while she finds her bag instead of letting us move on to the next destination. Stupid.

5. We were sent to the WRONG HOTEL. We already carried all our luggages from the mini van to the hotel TOLERATING THE COLD to get to the hotel's lobby and then found out we had to lugged them all back and find the right hotel. FYI: There are no bellboys in Europe so you have to carry to luggages all by yourself.

6. We had dinner at 11pm europe time which is 5am? 6am? in Singapore for two days. Joy to the stomachs.

ALL SIX IN THE FIRST DAY. GUESS HOW I FELT ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE TOUR? X-X

7. Bus boot got wrecked in italy. Someone pried it open causing us such a scare. The tour agency jinxed this as well.

8. A guy from our tour fainted in the restaurant. I thought it was fits but thankfully not. Jinxed.

9. Because of the bus boot getting wrecked, another bus in the tour got wrecked somehow also and needed repair. We waited for hours for the bus to repair at an autogrill station. Exciting huh.

10. Got cheated of 140 EURO (which is almost S$280) per person to go up a stupid mountain Jungfrau. Its an optional tour which you had to pay to go and we got convinced because "you are not in Switzerland unless you go there!" Thanks man, i spent that amount of money walking around only subconscious about to die because of the high altitude.

These are the worst. If i continue i might as well write an essay.

Anyway whats this wonderful tour agency i followed?

All in all, the europe trip thanks to the tour agency has made me not want to go on holidays anymore (im serious) and i am so grateful to be in Singapore now.

Ok enough about the tour agency,

Dislikes about Eur ope itself:

1. Because im ASIAN or CHINESE (and they assumed im from China), the service i get from many of the european staff were bleh. I ASSUME the reason is discrimination but it may not be so.

2. The things there are awfully expensive. Water can cost up to S$5 and as i mentioned in a post, even trips to public toilets can cause S$2. Macdonalds in switzerland cost me S$25 dollars for EVM and about S$10 in the rest of Europe average. (Y)

3. Boring history but still not as boring as Singapore's (Does not apply to the whole Europe but only a few places i visited)

I mean some people may like this but its not for me. I like those exciting Labour camps in Germany kind of history not which King built this which Pope built that.

4. The plane ride to get to Europe from Singapore is dreadfully long.

What i like about Europe:

1. Europeans are BEAUTIFUL. Almost every female i see i go AHH, IF ONLY I LOOKED LIKE THEM. Sorry im so shallow.

2. The buildings are so intricate and full of their own style? culture? Ours is a lump of concrete and cement.

3. Their branded clothes are CHEAP. (A pity i didnt have enough time to shop) H&M prices there are like forever21 here?

4. Their branded bags are much cheaper in comparison to here

5. Their sky is ALWAYS so beautiful. I dont know why the sky just seems a patch of blue here and there its like bunny clouds and all. Grass is always greener on the other side...

Random note: Dont you hate it when you type and want to add more words in the earlier sentence the keyboard eats it up? I forgot how to fix this problem so im finally ending here.

All in all in all: I LOVE SINGAPORE BEST WOOHOO.

Day 3 morning started out with a 4 hour ride to Pisa

FYI: my hair is always let down messily because the long bus rides always screw it so i gave up doing my hair for pictures. I spent so long tying my nicest braided hairband with my hair on day 3 and it was screwed.

The WORST chinese restaurant ever.
But too bad, when you are craving for chinese food (NOT ME) after seeing the leaning tower of pisa, this is all thats there.

My mother said this was suppose to be a police car. Mm...

Took another god knows how long bus ride to Florence which i must say, i cant remember anything about this place other than the $2 toilet visit.

The above sign shows that you need to purchase a nearly S$2 ticket to enter a toilet.

Day 1 - 13 dec

7 hours flight to Dubai from Singapore for transit
Slept through the flight.
Ate lousy burger king at Dubai(muslim flavour?) and the service provided by the staff was absolutely horrible.

I watched 5 movies in 8 hour because i couldnt sleep

Day 2 - 14 dec

Finally at Rome, snapping on the way to Vatican city

The columns are supposed a famous work of Michelangelo called "Pieta" where from a point instead of seeing three columns you can only see the first column because of some mathematical calculations used to built the structure .....

but the point is - Its beautiful.

Im not excited at all somehow for this year's trip. (13 dec to 26 dec)

1. Im going to be away from M, unable to contact at all because i have no autoroam (?) and internet is cancelled in case i come back with a $10000 bill

2. Its dangerous: Saudi Intel Warns of New Europe Terror Threat T.T

3. Lady is going to stay under the care of my ah ma.

Not that i do not trust my ah ma to take care of lady.. (ok, i actually do not trust my ah ma to take care of lady),
but my ah ma will never be able to catch up with lady if lady runs away when the door opens or something.
And i dont know what nonsense will my ah ma feed her.
Looks like i need to write a notice in hokkien or something to warn my ah ma beforehand.

4. Im going to limp around tourist destinations with a fractured toe?
Oh ya a random note: The little toe, despite being seemingly insignificant, is needed to keep balance. In terms of importance, it is second to the big toe. So yea my fractured little toe makes me walk like a limping duck now tyvm.

5. My daddy is not coming (!!!)
A big deal because my daddy is the photographer, the entertainer, my favourite man on the earth and ... my atm machine.
His absence threatens my ability to buy stuff. >.>

Car accident

I NEVER thought that i would be in a car accident.
Yesterday was such a long day.
Thankfully we survived and my face isnt disfigured and i only sustain a fractured toe and a few cuts here and there(HAHAHA)

5. You could demand for money as compensation. I was hoping the driver gave me money but he didnt >.> Oh well...

2. The NEXX mall OPPOSITE my house has finally opened!
As big as ion orchard (?) but there are only a few shops that i actually like e.g. isetan uniqlo(cant find it though they claim there is an outlet) ljs kfc mac the ship restaurant (as you can see most stores that i like are junk food...)

3. Celebrated grandmother's day for the first time (goes to show how filial my family is) at Changing appetites (?) (Y)
Losing one grandmother reminds me to treasure my other grandmother. Hope i can be constantly reminded and never take her love for granted.

4. Am officially sick of maple :( But i rather play than clean my room or worse, study for the lecture tests on FIRST WEEK OF TERM 1. Srsly jc life is no life.

Kpop Night Concert!!!!

I didnt regret queuing from 6am to 8pm to get good spots in the standing pit!

(Although in the end there was no need to queue actually because there were actually quite little people in the standing pit and we just end up standing in spaces where we can see them best, only running near the barricade when the singers move to the "T" stage.)

I didnt feel the ache from standing throughout the concert because i was too engrossed!

It was an outing with the brainless family (my family and im the head of household) and the brainful(?) family without the men of our families

My daughter! Single, young and attractive! (with a horrible son though) I need to find her a boyfriend, anyone wants an interview?

Each of us had to pay 15 i think for the buffet itself but plus gst and all the INDIRECT TAXES, we end up paying 20.
The meal wasnt worth my 20 bucks because i only cooked noodles, fishballs and seaweed. Lots of them though but it was definitely worth it for cherie who "murdered" countless of cows and crabs.

Went to shop around later and bought books and a piece of cloth worth $79 from mango thereafter - saw the price tag wrongly but i've refunded it already thankfully.

On a random note, last week at school was a COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. And this week they schedule lectures and pw lessons for us and expect us to be able to focus when it is post promos..
Also, JC holidays start at 25 Nov.
JC is SERIOUSLY screwed.

Since before promos i've formed a habit of reading (finally)
I spent my precious september holiday reading Left Hand of God which is a very thrilling book that makes you not want to take your hands of it and then devastates you with a lousy ending.

Read PS. I love you before or after that book, cant remember.

But recently i've finally finished Eat pray love!
Took 8 days to finish this since i started reading immediately after amanda gave it to me on my birthday and it took so long because frankly speaking, it was a little boring at times

Nonetheless, i've bookmarked many pages because it was insightful:

"Amid the more esoteric circles of Eastern philosphers, the number 108 is held to be most auspicious, a perfect three-digit multiple of three, its components adding up to nine which is three threes. This paragraph was to explain why she wrote 108 chapters in the book but i like it because of the number "108", my birthday being eight of October (10/8) ^.^, and so i like to believe that i was born on an auspicious date and im going to have a good life ahead.

Im officially 17 years and 3 days old!
Thank you so much to everyone who wished me happy birthday!
Most of the birthday wishes this year were very unexpected because i didnt think many would remember after secondary school graduation, esp when i dont have facebook to send notifications.

Thank you old friends and new friends that made my birthday enjoyable. I absolutely love all the books and the CD very much. Im 1/3 done through eat pray love and i'll start on Time Traveller's Wife very soon!

Although honestly speaking it wasnt the best birthday i ever had because of the absence of important people in my life, exams and my grandma, gifts this year were enough to compensate - love and to be talking to you again

Also, happy birthday to kor! (9th October)
I know you detest your little sister because i destroyed your 3rd birthday celebration when mummy brought to life exactly 1 day before your birthday and had to stay in hospital after giving birth but the $$$$ shoes should compensate!
I never expected you to buy me something as well although your presents is A TINY FRACTION of what i spend on your present, its sufficient really, i was super touched. *sheds tears while typing this*

I dont know whether it is appropriate to blog about this.
I feel like blogging about this because i want to remember these feelings but i shouldnt even forget it in the first place.

Only when my grandma was critically ill that i know of her maiden surname because you had to sign in to visit wards with that information.

Only when she was lying in the ward then i regret not learning my dialect to communicate with her. Couldnt even express any concern with words in her final days.

Never once said "i love you" to her in my whole life or hug her properly even when im told to during her birthday celebrations. I happily assumed she could live for 9 more years to celebrate her 100th birthday just this year.

Didnt manage to see her on her deathbed because i was out at the airport studying and my mother didnt want to disturb me. Did you pass on with ease?

And despite all this regrets, now im guilty of having the thought that the ceremonies and rituals after her death is quite a chore, ever cross my mind.

Perhaps even, my ah po intentionally left on sunday so that my promos (next week) will not be affected.

Cant believe myself.

I didnt cry throughout the ceremony until i walked past my ah po's coffin in the ceremony because i never knew she could look so beautiful, since she have never taken care of her appearance after my ah gong died young and left her to struggle to bring up many kids.

Ah po, i hope death is like what people say - where there are clouds and angels, where you can reunite with ah gong and your parents, where you can enjoy the luxuries you've never been able to enjoy before and have love and company in afterlife. And i hope i can do you proud here.

Went sentosa on ISLE learning trip to take care of children. Kids, though now vulgar at decreasingly young age, are still the most innocent.

Queued overnight for kpop night tickets, it was hell but worth it to get the tickets (thank you rachel and calvin!)

God bless my grandma with the best for her whether best means to leave or to live.

Operation 45kg

Currently 48 kg.
I dont actually think im fat but somehowwwww recently everyone (ok exaggerate, but there's at least 10) is telling me that im getting fatter (sometimes even without the -ter)

Call me anorexic but until i have the time and determination to exercise, i will lose the 3 kg by eating less proper meals (not sacrificing my potato chips..)

And i must have more determination to study for long hours!
Hate how easily tired i get these days.

Happy birthday Cherie!

You are one of the first few classmates i talked to! And i only decided to talk to you after i saw you grooving to the music played during the DISC profiling workshop and thought "woah this is one crazy idiot and we just might click". Who knew that we could end up as a clique.

Its been 7 months since knowing you and we all better promote so that we can celebrate your birthday next year again! (not saying that i wont celebrate your birthday for you if i dont promote but it'll just be different!)

I'll definitely attend your wedding when you are 40!

YOG 2010

Nevermind that Singapore is far from the top in the number of medals won, we already achieved huge success being able to host YOG, us being a little red dot and all!
So proud of Singapore!

However, im guilt of being one unenthusiastic Singaporean - I didnt watch ANY of the matches on TV but i did watch soccer and table tennis live. :/
I attribute my lack of interest to my dislike for sports in general :X

I always worried throughout the YOG that we may get bombed or something. Thankfully, YOG started and ended of in peace.

Note to self: Remember to tell my grandchildren that YOG was first hosted by Singapore and their grandma watched it live.

The gathering consisted mostly of 4/3 people, it was heartwarming <3
In secondary school, teachers always reminded us to treasure our time, our friends because secondary school days will be the best of our lives.
To think i wanted to graduate and experience jc life so badly in the past.
Its true, secondary school life and friends are irreplaceable!

I woke up today thinking that yesterday was all a dream but thankfully my headache and empty wallet proved that it was reality.

I love ikea's catalogue!

Its weird.
I used to see the catalogue a few years back and wished my room could be like the rooms in the catalogue but now i wish to have kids quickly and decorate their rooms like the rooms in the catalogue instead.

I wish i dont have boys though.
Ava boys (ava only has 2 girls) keep asking and nagging and chanting for their welfare (aka maid aka me) to buy food for them. I get tired of buying food to store in our control room because they deplete all of it in one day. Its scary how much food boys can shove in their throats.

The past week i've been out alot and its a hectic one!

Mon- national day (mentioned before)
Tues- Sentosa outing (mentioned before)
Wed- night study till 7+ 8
Thurs- geog test (didnt even realise until periods just before the test) + night study till 9.30
Fri- maths test + yog (watched the soccer match singapore vs zimbabwe! We owned. Photos up soon!)
Sat- gp test at 8.30am -O-, visited poor dengue stricken cheryl how at the hospital till 4, become a free maid at someone's house (HAHA kidding)

Finally, a sunday to myself!
